How does a writer capture the very essence of Tolucci? When I got discombobulated, I found the story of Napoleon Bonaparte. The beginning of the story has a nexus with the little of Tolucci I have seen. His rising, his steps, his character, his benevolence and devotion. Each time I research his story, I see an enigmatic personality that has several layers that must be unravelled so that generations after ours will find these articles and be inspired to be laser-focus, stay alert and guard their progress like he did.
Best way to tell the story of Tolucci is to serve a ‘once upon a time’ anecdote of Napoleon Bonaparte.
On being appointed one of the commanders to defend the seat of government in the Tuilleries (with a force which looks like being outnumbered six to one by the rebels), Napoleon asked one simple question, “Where is the artillery?” The encounter between the French Army and the rebels was a direct frontal attack and it was repeated two to three times, but eventually the rebels scattered. In the early months of the Directory, Napoleon was rapidly promoted until, in March 1796, he became the commander-in-chief of the French Army in Italy. Napoleon would go on to revolutionize military organization and training. He left a lasting mark on the institutions of France and expanded the domain of France.
Call this piece, Acts of Tolucci, you are absolutely right. This is an interesting journey of learning what it takes to stay focused while paying attention to divinely-orchestrated directions, instructions and leadings, and finding true purpose and mandate for life.
Unlike the story of Napoleon, Tolucci wasn’t appointed to lead his peers in his Osun hometown. All he did was find his God-ordained purpose, stay true, and others sought him out accordingly. Like Napoleon, he started getting elevated and promoted.
Wait… this is not how to start a story. I guess the passion to tell his story is making me forget chronology. My English Teacher had better not see this.
Tolucci, born Toluwase Tolulope, was born on the first Monday of the month, March 2, 1980. His love for numbers drove him to study Industrial Mathematics at the prestigious Federal University of Technology Akure.

I think the nick Tolucci must have come from his name and surname having Tolu. The CCI must have an extra meaning. Hopefully, I will ask him one day

While doing all this, he was an inspiration to his peers and young people around him. He has a metronomic energy to maximise resources and lead projects, hence, people look up to him as a rally for proper management. His Masters Degree is a testament of his devotion to amazing things. Don’t be shocked when he announces his Doctorate.
You are about to see what it takes to stay focused and give all it takes on the journey of Excellence while paying attention to divinely-orchestrated directions, instructions and leadings from his early age.
If life were a concept, Tolucci will carefully explain what life is without pause and breaks for more than 3 hours and he won’t be tired. As the convener of arguably the Biggest Open-Air Youth Event in South-West Nigeria, MASS, you can never catch him unaware. He has a deep bank of wisdom, profound wealth of experience to share to motivate or position people around him. People who have spent time with Tolucci will tell you, ‘Oga le sope kos’aye but won le fi four hours salaye kini yen.’ (Loosely translated as Oga may tell you there is no time but spend about four hours explaining the phenomenon).
People who have come across him will tell you that he is highly-intelligent, multi-talented, never-say-never, resourceful and structured. His wealth of experience in Media, Management and Television is so rich that he has been nominated and won more than 6 awards for his commitment to excellence and exceptional results. Some of these awards dating back to 2011

One of his statements which I have heard is and very profound is, “If it is not excellent, we are not doing it!”

Becoming a full-time Evangelist since 2015, Tolucci has held many impact events across South-West Nigeria which has blessed lives and drawn many people to Jesus. His unstructured connection and identifcation with youths explains why he has a huge network of young people who have been led to Jesus through his ministry and his personal life. It is on record that more than 400 persons once gave their lives to Jesus at a meeting he convened. His Faith-Based Foundation, MASS Impact Foundation has collaborated with many NGOs to award scholarships and offset school fees for many students across the 36 states of Nigeria and FCT. Wherever the cluster or community is, as long as there are young people in the gathering, expect Tolucci to come and give them the right breaking of words. He is never shy to use his life story as a motivation for teens and young adults. His practical solution and realistic approach to issues shows a para-military discipline instilled since he was young.
When a man with this dexterity and experience as a Banker, Financial strategist, Movie Producer, Editor, Sounds Technician, Voice-Over Actor, Event Manager dump all these skills because he received a divine call to passionately seek out teens and young adults showing them that there is an EXCELLENCE that can be achieved in Jesus, you don’t doubt him.

As the convener of arguably the Biggest Open-Air Youth Event in South-West Nigeria, MASS (Music According to the Streets and Scriptures), you can never catch him unaware. He has a deep bank of wisdom, profound wealth of experience to share to motivate or position people around him.
If you ask people in the inner circle about his life, they will tell you of his reckless faith, long hours of prayers, monstrous targets, and incorrigible devotion to excellence. There is this behind-the-scenes story of how Tolucci turned never-been, unpopular individuals to star in the MASS TV produced movie, Mission Malaika. That is a story for another part II
Want to be the next Tolucci? Be committed to Excellence. Visibility will find and hug you tight.
